Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest and premier wildlife park. Home to elephants, buffaloes, lions and leopards plus a healthy population of hippos and crocodiles that inhabit the River Nile. The park is famed for its spectacular waterfalls and bird life including the rare shoebill stork and you should not miss out on tracking the chimpanzees in Budongo Forest!

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Pick up from your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe to start your journey to Murchison Falls. En-route the journey you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary 180 km from Kampala for Rhino tracking. Here, you will have a wonderful experience tracking the southern white rhinos. After this experience you will head to Masindi town where you will have a lunch break. Proceed through Budongo forest to reach the top of the stunning Murchison falls. Enjoy the sunset as you rest and prepare for dinner at the lodge.

Day 1: Kampala - Murchison Falls National Park
An early start with a cup of coffee, ready for trekking that begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA officials. The ranger guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been allocated to. When you finally locate the family that you are tracking, you will sit in the forest among the gorillas, listening to them grumble to each other, and marvel at the sheer size of the dominant male – the silverback.You will be allowed to spend only one magical hour with the gorillas after which you will trek aback to your lodge.

Day 2: Game Drives, Launch Cruise
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the northern sector of the park for the Buligi Tracks. Wildlife species often seen include giraffes, Ugandan kob, oribi, waterbucks, hartebeest, sitatunga, bushbuck, warthogs, bush pig, lion leopard, mongoose, genet, hyena, jackal, and bat eared fox. After lunch, a three-hour boat trip along the Nile gives you the chance to see Murchison Falls from below. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can be seen along the shores of the river. You will disembark from the boat at the bottom of the falls to take a hike to the top of Murchison Falls where you will find your guide waiting for you and head back to your lodge for dinner.

Day 3: Return to Entebbe
Have a late breakfast and check out of the lodge .You will head for another extensive game drive as you prepare to exist the park. Afterwards, embark on your journey back to Kampala/Entebbe. Depending on your flight departure time, you will either be dropped off at the airport or in a hotel.
